Hello

Hello!

I'm Victoria, owner of Tranquil Treatments - Reflexology & Massage Therapies.

As a mum of two young children, and a business owner, I get it. Amongst all the life admin and work, self-care can sometimes seem like another thing to add to an already exhaustive ‘To do’ list.

That’s why I do what I do. At Tranquil Treatments, the emphasis is very much upon the ‘tranquil’. I help people switch off from the world outside and take some time for themselves. Having a treatment of reflexology can have a hugely positive impact on other areas of your life.

I pride myself on supporting my clients to focus on themselves for a short time, to step out of the chaos and into a safe space where they can free themselves of tension (both physical and emotional). My therapies will leave you not only feeling tranquil in body, but also in mind: relaxed, revitalised, and nurtured. Based in a beautiful treatment room in Chester le Street, Co Durham, I offer all my relaxing therapies in a calming, supportive, and safe space.

Having studied at Newcastle College, Northumbria and also with prominent Reflexologists Sally Earlam and Sally Kay, I am a qualified practitioner offering Reflexology (including Mindful Reflexology & Reflexology Lymph Drainage), Aromatherapy Massage & Blending, Indian Head Massage and Pregnancy treatments. One of my particular interests is in the benefits of Reflexology & Holistic Therapies for supporting Women’s Health.

I have studied Maternity Reflexology, Reflexology to support fertility, Pregnancy Massage and Aromatherapy for Pregnancy & Birth specifically in order to support women in calming their bodies, minds and emotions - that is the healing power of holistic therapies.

A few fun facts about me:

  • I’ve two amazing daughters and a lovely husband, Steve.

  • I do everything single-handedly when it comes to my business: website building, paperwork, accounts - it’s a lot, but it’s worth it to be able to do the vocation I love and fit it around my family.

  • One of the things that drives me is feedback from clients. When they tell me how they have felt relief from certain symptoms, how well they slept after treatment, how relaxed they felt, or that they ‘floated’ out of the room - it makes me feel so lucky to be doing a job that I love and that helps others.

  • I love to visit Scotland, especially the West Coast. It is such a beautiful, tranquil place!

  • I got married in Thailand. The night before the wedding, a coconut fell from a tree, missing me by millimetres - talk about close shaves! I’d be nuts if I didn’t milk that story!

If you want to know more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via my contact page, and follow me on Facebook and Instagram to find out more about what I’ve been up to, my services, and current offers. I look forward to meeting you soon.
